This role will conduct regular inspections and audits to meet the sites’ reporting requirements. Acting as a liaison to our Global Environmental Health & Safety organization, the Specialist EHS Sr will focus on Global Risk Procedures, including air emissions, waste management, and stormwater protocols.\nAdditionally, this role will drive the execution of site-specific targets and objectives in alignment with Donaldson's overarching environmental, health, and safety strategies. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Frankfort, Indiana facility. The Senior EHS Specialist will support both the Frankfort and Monticello facilities.\nRole Responsibilities:\nIdentify, evaluate, and manage potential environmental hazards and risks to employee health and safety within an organization.\nCreate, execute, and sustain EHS programs and processes.\nPerform regular inspections and risk assessments at facilities.\nInvestigate incidents and accidents, recommending corrective actions.\nStay informed about relevant regulations and standards.\nWork with internal and external stakeholders to enhance EHS awareness and drive continuous improvement.\nMaintains site-specific compliance assurance processes to facilitate the timely completion of EHS-related compliance, training and preventive maintenance obligations.\nConducts employee training as outlined on the site’s EHS Compliance Calendar.\nConducts sampling and data collection required to demonstrate compliance with the sites’ environmental regulatory requirements.\nTravel: Up to10%\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree\n3+ years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience, including professional work experience, internships, co-ops, or other applicable experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in a distribution or manufacturing setting\nExperience in management of environmental compliance including Title V air permit and hazardous waste.\nExcellent understanding of EHS regulations and standards.\nForklift experience.\nChemical waste tracking and labeling.\nStrong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.\nCommitment to ethics, integrity, and compliance.\nRelocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.\nImmigration Sponsorship Not Available:\nApplicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.). \nDonaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position. \nInternational relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered. \nEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability and Veterans\nEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
