Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects\nOversee all NPD projects from customer design transfer through engineering qualification, validation, and production release.\nEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet customer requirements.\n2. Supervise and Develop NPD Engineering Team\nLead, coach, and develop NPD Engineers.\nAssign project priorities, monitor workload, and ensure effective execution.\n3. Drive Cross-functional Project Management\nCooperate activities among Design Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics and Supply Chain, Purchasing, and external suppliers.\nAct as the primary engineering focal point for project status, risk management, and issue resolution.\n4. Establish and Improve NPD systems\nDevelop and continuously improve NPI processes, Engineering Qualification Plans (EQP), documentation standards, and project management methodologies.\nStandardize best practices to improve project execution efficiency.\n5. Technical Leadership\nReview product designs, tooling concepts, manufacturing processes, validation plans, DFM/PFMEA, PMCP, risk assessments, and engineering changes.\nEnsure manufacturability, reliability, qualify, and cost objectives are achieved.\n6. Customer and Global Engineering Interface\nCollaborate with customers and Donaldson Disk Drive Filtration engineering teams on new product development, technical reviews, and qualification activities.\nLead technical discussions during customer visits, design reviews, and project meetings.\n7. Engineering Qualification & Product Release\nEnsure Engineering Qualification Plans (EQP), prototype builds, validation testing, First Article (FA), and product release activities are completed according to company and customer requirements.\n8. Project Risk & Resource Management\nIdentify project risks proactively and implement mitigation plans.\nManage engineering resources to support multiple concurrent projects while maintaining project priorities.\n9. Continuous Improvement\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives related to NPI cycle time, engineering productivity, project management, and manufacturing readiness.\n10. Compliance\nSupport ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949, ISO14644 (clean room), safety requirements, customer-specific requirements, and company policies.\nPerform additional duties assigned by the Engineering Manager.\nKey Qualifications & Requirements:\nEducation Qualification:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related field.\nMaster's degree is an advantage.\nTechnical Competence & Skills:\nStrong knowledge of New Product Development (NPD/NPI).\nStrong Project Management skills.\nEngineering Qualification Plan (EQP).\nProduct Validation & Verification.\nDesign for Manufacturability (DFM)\nPFMEA.\nStatistical Analysis and Six Sigma Tools.\nLean Manufacturing principles.\nRisk Management.\nEngineering Change Management (ECR/ECO)\nGood understanding of manufacturing processes.\nStrong presentation and reporting skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and Project Management software\nLeadership Competence:\nStrong leadership and people management skills.\nExcellent coaching and mentoring ability.\nStrategic thinking.\nExcellent planning and organization skills.\nStrong decision-making capability.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nCustomer-oriented mindset.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving ability.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure.\nRelevant Experience:\n7-10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing and minimum 3 years leading NPD/NPI\nExperience in HDD, electronics, semiconductor, medical devices, automotive, or other manufacturing in clean room environments.\nExperience leading cross-functional engineering projects.\nOthers:\nGood command of spoken and written English.\nWilling to travel domestically and internationally.\nKnowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949 (preferred).\nEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
