Join a culture of collaboration and innovation that matters and a chance to learn, effect change, and make meaningful contributions at work and in communities.\nROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssist the Production Supervisor with meeting departmental goals and objectives by ensuring key performance indicators such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost are consistently achieved.\nDistribute and align manpower for production optimization.\nCoordinate material flow to support production goals.\nTroubleshoot machine downtime and production variances.\nCommunicate effectively department goals, objects, and challenges to team members, plant leadership, engineers, and production control.\nTrain team members on personal protective equipment, procedures, methods, problem solving techniques, prints, machinery, programming, and quality requirements.\nIdentify opportunities for lean improvements and implement lean processes.\nUtilize Key Performance Indicators to drive results.\nVerify first piece inspection for untrained team members and spot check first piece inspections for trained team members.\nVerify scrap reports, investigate reasons for scrap, and aid in solutions.\nPerform daily, weekly, and monthly data entry in Oracle.\nComplete first piece inspection forms and other quality checklists as required.\nInvestigate near misses and other incidents and complete reports.\nComply with all OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.\nIdentify the different resources and needs for the department to reach expected results.\nAssist the team as a whole in achieving department objectives and operating together as an effective team.\nIdentify and manage inventory constraints to meet daily goals\nPromote 6s and other safety initiatives daily, including STOP CALL WAIT initiative and support safety team.\nLead by example and occasionally perform team member functions as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:\nPossess knowledge of department product, procedures, and equipment\nPossess attention to detail\nCommunicate professionally at all levels of the organization\nWork effectively with limited supervision and maintain a positive working relationship with all team members and plant personnel\nMaintain confidentiality\nMotivate and maintain respect of team members\nMaintain productivity levels at or above Company standards\nPerform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.\nInteract constructively and effectively with all plant employees.\nAbility to work in a team environment toward a common goal.\nReacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned\nFork truck certification is required \nMust be able to read and interpret blueprints and routings \nMust be computer proficient and able to navigate within Oracle and Excel computer programs\nPunctual daily attendance is a key requirement for success in this position\nImmigration Sponsorship Not Available:\nApplicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.).\nDonaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.\nInternational relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered.\nEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability and Veterans\nEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
