Join a culture of collaboration and innovation that matters and a chance to learn, effect change, and make meaningful contributions at work and in communities.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Application Engineer provides comprehensive sales and technical support for both original equipment and after-market products leveraging technical, organizational, and customer knowledge, the role supports domestic, international, and inter-company sales efforts by influencing customers and assisting them in applying Facet's products and services to their needs. The ideal candidate will design and propose technical equipment solutions that align with clients' technical requirements, international standards, and Facet's legacy of technical excellence, ensuring ideal user solutions.\nRole Responsibilities:\nAnalyze EPC or refinery specifications to size and design equipment, determine material requirements, and assess the cost implications and develop and present detailed quotations that highlight the value and competitive edge of Facet equipment.\nInterpret and apply industry standards (ASME, ISO, API, SAE, EI, etc.), customer specifications, and project requirements.\nPrepare accurate cost estimates and maintain a systematic approach to quote and project files.\nCollaborate with manufacturing vendors to ensure precise cost details, utilize and maintain Salesforce for managing quotes, opportunities, and sales data in collaboration with the sales team.\nSupport Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and Customer Service teams with technical expertise stay updated on all products within Facet's portfolio and modify existing designs for new applications.\nDetermine optimal equipment sizing based on customer applications and specifications.\nPromote and suggest methods for increasing sales of Facet products to customers and distributors provide technical support to distributors, engineering firms, and end-users.\nInterface with production planning and drafting teams to deliver accurate lead times and project schedules.\nEnsure timely and professional responses to both internal and external stakeholders, maintain and improve margins for capital equipment sales by implementing innovative and cost-effective solutions explore new opportunities and contribute to Facet's growth by promoting technical solutions to enhance customer value.\nTravel: up to 50%\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field OR equivalent work experience\n5+ years of applied industry experience, with expertise in pressure vessels, piping, and the design/manufacture of pressure equipment.\nExperience in the marine and/or power generation industry\nFamiliarity with filtration and separation processes\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProficiency in 2D and 3D design software.\nKnowledge of welding and fabrication processes involving metals, piping, fittings, and materials.\nStrong project management skills with a focus on multi-tasking and prioritization.\nImmigration Sponsorship Not Available:\nApplicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.)\nDonaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.\nInternational relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered.\nEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability and Veterans.\nEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
