This 1st shift position hours are, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 am to 2:00 pm.\nRole Responsibilities:\nAdheres to production schedule\nReads, assembles, and welds using TIG and GTAW welding techniques from blueprints.\nPrepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.\nMonitors welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.\nSetting up to 250 Amp, 32 Volt, 400 IPM wire speed\nUses .045 - .052 metal core wire using 90/10 gas\nGrinds and wire wheels product to clean smooth surfaces\nWeld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead\nThorough understanding of machines and tools used for welding\nMaintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area\nNotifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum of 1 year welding experience\nBasic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments\nPreferred Qualifications:\nWelding certification per AMS-STD-1595A\n2 years+ welding experience\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and processes\nEnough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work\nNADCAP Certification Level II Inspector per Military Standard 271\nNAVSEA Certification per S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248\nHourly Rate: $24.32\nActual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.\nThis position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.\nEmployee benefits are part of the competitive total rewards package that Donaldson Company, Inc. provides to you.
