Role \n\nWe are looking for a hands-on Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Operations function, supporting and evolving our European technology environment.\n\nThis is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad hybrid infrastructure estate spanning Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, Windows and Linux servers, virtualisation, enterprise networking, backup and disaster recovery.\n\nYou will play a key role in maintaining secure, resilient and reliable IT services while contributing to major infrastructure transformation programmes, platform modernisation, automation and continual service improvement.\n\nKey responsibilities: \nCloud, Microsoft 365 & Identity: Administer and secure Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory services, supporting cloud governance, identity management and access controls.\nServer & Virtualisation: Maintain Windows and Linux servers, core infrastructure services, VMware and Hyper-V environments, ensuring platform reliability, security and performance.\nBackup & Disaster Recovery: Manage and improve backup and recovery solutions, including Veeam and Rubrik, supporting disaster recovery testing, immutable backups and cyber resilience.\nInfrastructure Transformation: Contribute to infrastructure migrations, data centre modernisation, platform upgrades, site consolidation and hybrid cloud initiatives.\nAutomation & Monitoring: Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell and other tools, while improving infrastructure monitoring, endpoint management and operational efficiency.\nNetworking & Security: Support enterprise networking, firewalls, endpoint security, vulnerability remediation and privileged access management.\nIncident Management & Service Improvement: Troubleshoot complex technical issues, contribute to major incident resolution and root-cause analysis, and identify opportunities to improve service reliability.\nDocumentation & Collaboration: Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures, collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, and share knowledge to strengthen infrastructure standards and team
