Working in both bar and restaurant settings, they engage guests with warm, attentive service while maintaining a clean, organized, and energetic environment. Bartenders are expected to have strong product knowledge, uphold responsible service standards, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience through personalized recommendations and efficient execution. This is a tipped position, with earning potential based on service quality and guest satisfaction.\nEssential Functions\nCrafts delicious cocktails and drinks for both the bar and restaurant.\nServes a variety of wines, draft, and bottled beers, along with delectable food, all up to hotel standards.\nHandles payments for drinks with precision, following hotel accounting procedures.\nAttends to guests’ needs with prompt and friendly service.\nGuides guests in choosing the perfect food and beverage items.\nPromotes cocktail hours and special events with flair.\nImplements alcohol awareness procedures to prevent guest intoxication.\nAdhere to alcohol awareness procedures to prevent guest intoxication while maintaining professionalism and care.\nPrepares drinks and ensures correct pricing.\nAssists servers with bar knowledge and expertise.\nCleans, sanitizes, restocks, and stores bar items meticulously.\nSecures all money at the end of each shift.\nKeeps the supervisor informed of any significant issues or unusual matters.\nServes bar menu food according to hotel standards.\nEnsures proper storage of alcohol.\nMaintains cleanliness of bar service and guest areas.\nReports maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.\nRequisitions alcohol and bar food as per hotel standards.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nAdhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.\nThe hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
