The work here doesn't sit in a slide deck - it ends up in the field, in the hands of people for whom failure isn't an option.\nAbout the Role\nThe Development Engineering Manager leads the development and delivery of next-generation radio products within Doodle Labs’ wireless networking portfolio. This role is responsible for overseeing product development from concept through design, validation, and manufacturing while ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams.\nIn this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including RF, software, mechanical design, NPI, operations, and quality assurance to bring new radio products to market. You will also lead and grow a team of development engineers while supporting product lifecycle activities such as prototype validation, cost optimization, and regulatory certification.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead development of radio product variants from concept through design, validation, and manufacturing\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams across RF, software, mechanical, NPI, operations, and QA\nManage and coordinate engineers and specialists to ensure effective project execution\nDevelop automation processes to improve engineering efficiency and reduce test time\nCreate and validate prototypes to confirm design performance and functionality\nIdentify and implement cost optimization initiatives while maintaining product quality\nManage engineering changes related to component end-of-life and lifecycle transitions\nSupport regulatory certification processes for new products and markets.\nOversee development of technical documentation including datasheets, integration guides, and application notes\nCoordinate with internal and external teams and vendors to support development and manufacturing readiness\nWhat Success Looks Like\nSuccessful delivery of new radio You Are\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Communications Engineering, or a related field\n10+ years of industry experience in wireless, radio, or RF product development\nStrong knowledge of radio/Wi-Fi product development, product engineering, and quality processes\nProven experience working across hardware development and manufacturing environments\nAbility to lead and mentor teams of engineers and technical specialists\nStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams\nComfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced
