The work here doesn't sit in a slide deck - it ends up in the field, in the hands of people for whom failure isn't an option.\nAbout the Role\nThe Senior Product Engineer is responsible for leading product engineering activities across Doodle Labs’ radio product lines and will play a key role in driving product development from design through validation and manufacturing.\nIn this role, you will work closely with RF, Software, Mechanical Design, NPI, Operations, and Manufacturing/Quality Assurance teams to deliver high-performance radio systems. This position will help shape product quality, manufacturability, and scalability as Doodle Labs continues to expand its radio portfolio.\nThis is an opportunity to build and scale next-generation wireless products within a high-growth company at the forefront of autonomous systems and wireless networking.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn and drive product engineering activities for radio product lines from design through validation and manufacturing\nLead product bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation efforts\nCollaborate cross-functionally with RF, software, mechanical, NPI, operations, and QA teams\nDrive design for manufacturability (DFM), design for test (DFT), and cost optimization initiatives\nDevelop and improve test setups, automation scripts, and validation processes to improve efficiency and coverage\nSupport regulatory and compliance certifications (e.g., FCC, CE)\nManage component obsolescence and support end-of-life (EOL) transitions\nProduce and maintain technical documentation such as datasheets, integration guides, and application notes\nMentor and guide junior product engineers\nWhat Success Looks Like\nSuccessful launch and manufacturing readiness of radio products\nImproved test efficiency, validation coverage, and product quality\nStrong cross-functional collaboration across engineering and operations teams\nReduction in manufacturing costs and improved product reliability\nEffective management of product lifecycle, including EOL transitions\nWho You Are\n6-9 years of experience in product engineering, RF systems, or related fields\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Communication Engineering, or a related discipline\nStrong experience in radio/Wi-Fi product development and manufacturing support\nHands-on expertise in hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation\nSolid understanding of quality control, validation, and production test methodologies\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications (Optional)\nExperience in wireless communication systems, RF design, or embedded hardware\nExperience in drones, robotics, or industrial IoT systems\nFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and large-scale production environments\nExperience supporting regulatory certifications
