As our customer base continues to expand, we're building an in-house tax practice to help entrepreneurs around the world stay compliant with U.S. tax requirements.\nThis is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the quality and accuracy of our tax filings while providing expert guidance to our clients. You will work closely with our Tax team to review business tax returns, support tax compliance, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.\nWhat you will do\nReview Federal and State business income tax returns prepared by other team members, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax laws.\nIdentify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information, providing clear feedback and guidance to tax preparers.\nReview tax calculations, supporting documentation, and client data before returns are finalized.\nWork closely with Tax Preparers to resolve technical tax issues and improve filing quality.\nAssist with complex tax matters, tax notices, amendments, and client inquiries.\nCommunicate directly with clients via email and video calls when additional clarification or tax guidance is needed.\nCollaborate with the broader Tax team to meet filing deadlines during tax season.\nResearch U.S. federal and state tax regulations to support accurate tax treatment.\nContribute to improving internal tax processes, documentation, and quality assurance standards.\nWho you are\n Active EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA license.\nActive PTIN or the ability to obtain one before tax season.\nExperience reviewing Federal and State business income tax returns.\nStrong knowledge of business tax compliance, including quarterly estimates, tax notices, and tax dispute resolution.\nExperience with Form 1120, Form 5472, and Form 1065, particularly for non-U.S. business owners and partnerships.\nAbility to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a remote work environment, including video meetings.\nExcellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills.\nStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.\nCompensation and benefits\nThis is a
