(Inventory, housekeeping, machines & supervise employees to follow company policy). Guide production employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment: plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. All while maintaining company standards.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nSupervise and coordinate activity in machine shop, and make sure operations are carried out efficiently and safely.\nSupervise Employees for dress code, safety, work ethic, company policy, etc.)\nTrain employees in the proper use of equipment\nEnforce safety regulations\nOversees the daily workflow of the department.\nProvides constructive and timely performance evaluations. \nRecruits, interviews, hires, and training of new staff. \nWork diligently to have materials prepped/ready to go.\nSchedule Production as needed to meet customer demand.\nParticipate in product development.\nMake sure dept is kept organized & clean for safety and for company standard. \nInspect machining procedures for quality, speed, and accuracy.\nCommunicate with other departments to ensure work is prioritized accordingly\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nAssign tasks, schedule work for machinist and oversee employees' work.\nInterpret blueprints and develop plans for how to complete a project.\nUpgrade and maintain machinery.\nOrder parts, materials & tooling.\nEnsure repair records are kept up to date.\nVerify & maintain quality of machined parts.\nAid and assist in programming of parts.\nMaintain inventory levels of raw materials and extrusions.\nHands on supervisor -
