The Small Parts Assistant Supervisor is responsible for being an efficient backup and able to run day-to-day operations in the small parts department. He/she will accomplish objectives using proper inventory control, quality control checks, and staff utilization as set by the Supervisor.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\n· Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate finished good stock levels.\n· Assist in the daily workflow of the department.\n· Review component inventory levels daily.\n· Assisting in training new employees\n· Work diligently to have materials prepped/ready to go.\n· Assist in scheduling production as needed to meet customer demand.\n· Verify & shelve materials daily.\n· Make sure that all orders go on the same day when possible. Customer service is our priority.\n· Participate in product development.\n· Make sure dept is kept organized & clean for safety and for company standards.\n· Inspect assembly procedures for quality, speed, and accuracy.\n· Evaluate cost of assemblies, packages, and other inventories we ship.\n· Communicate with the Supervisor and other departments to ensure workflow is efficient.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\n· Adjust inventory as needed with item journals and assembly bill of materials.\n· Hands on assistant supervisor -
