We have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reimagine an entire industry and create the right way for today.\nThe Role\nThe Maintenance Coordinator is a key member of Doorstead's Maintenance Operations Team, delivering a world-class servicing experience for tenants and owners. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of maintenance requests, from intake through triage, approval, scheduling, completion, and quality verification, including work orders, routine maintenance, property-ready repairs, and transfer property repairs. We're looking for someone with a customer-first mentality, a structured approach to problem solving, and excellent communication skills.\nResponsibilities\nOwn assigned work orders from intake to close-out, following established workflows and documentation standards.\nMeet CSAT targets and SLA commitments across all tenant and owner communications.\nManage and reduce a backlog of escalated maintenance issues through daily prioritization.\nSchedule and coordinate service appointments between tenants and vendors.\nConduct consistent follow-ups to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard.\nMaintain accurate, timely records in our systems for every request and communication.\nCollaborate across teams to resolve escalations.\nRequirements\nPrior experience as a virtual assistant or remote worker.\nExperience delivering excellent customer service in challenging or ambiguous situations.\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills.\nProcess-oriented, with strong attention to detail and documentation.\nDecisive and proactive, comfortable making sound decisions and moving work forward.\nEmpathetic, adaptable, and able to multitask across competing priorities.\nReliable internet connection.\nFlexible schedule.\nNice to Have\nExperience with property management, maintenance coordination, or work order software.\nFamiliarity with SLAs, CSAT, or ticketing systems.\nOur Values\nAn owner mentality with high empathy and customer obsession\nAn athlete mindset focused on deliberate practice and building momentum\nA lifelong learner who has an internal compass and believes in radical candor\nA member of a troupe that believes we’re better together and it is important to be on time, every time\nA pioneer who fearlessly breaks through challenges and believes in working hard, smart, and being disciplined.\nBenefits\nFlexibility: We believe in a flexible work-life balance and offer the option to work remotely from anywhere with an internet connection.\nWellness Leave: International Coordinators will earn eight (8) hours of bonus pay per calendar month to support their ability to take time off for well-being purposes, family-related reasons, sick leave, etc. This wellness bonus will be distributed as four (4) hours of pay included in each of their bi-monthly paychecks, totaling eight (8) hours of bonus pay each calendar month.\nNew Parent Leave: As part of Doorstead's commitment to supporting family formation, we offer ten (10) days of New Parent Bonus for new parent leave.
