Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized IT Project Coordinator to join our team. The IT Project Coordinator will be the key point of contact between clients and the development team, ensuring smooth communication, accurate understanding of requirements, and timely project delivery. This role is focused on coordinating all stages of project execution, monitoring progress, and ensuring the project is completed on time, within scope, and according to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams. Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for developers.
Project Planning: Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the project goals and deliverables.
Task Management: Assign tasks to developers based on project requirements. Monitor task progress to ensure timely completion and escalate issues as needed.
Progress Tracking: Regularly track the project’s progress, maintaining visibility on deadlines, milestones, and deliverables.
Client Updates: Keep clients informed on the status of their projects, handling any concerns or changes in project scope.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure all technical requirements are understood and met.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for project status, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
Risk Management: Identify any potential project risks or delays and proactively address them by coordinating with relevant team members.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the final product aligns with client expectations and requirements, ensuring a high standard of delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
2 to 4 years of experience in a project coordination role, particularly in IT or software development.
Strong communication skills to manage both client relationships and internal teams.
Organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and common project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
Ability to adapt quickly and manage shifting client demands and project requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
