Manual & Integration Testing\n·Design and execute test cases for:\noShopify core flows (cart, checkout, payments, returns).\noERP/OMS/SAP integrations (inventory, invoicing, refunds).\noAPI/webhooks (Postman).\n·Validate cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive behavior.\n3.Automation & Tools\n·Build initial automation regression pack (Cypress/Playwright).\n·Automate smoke tests (login, checkout, payment, OMS sync).\n·Integrate tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions).\n4. Training & Mentoring\n·Train junior QA testers on structured test case writing and bug reporting.\n·Conduct QA knowledge sessions for PMs/Devs (why QA matters).\n·Review juniors’ test execution & defect logs.\n5.Client UAT & Sign-offs\n·Prepare UAT checklists for clients.\n·Support client testing sessions with structured reporting.\n·Collect formal UAT sign-offs before go-live.\n6.Quality Metrics & Reporting\n·Track and report: defect leakage, test coverage, regression pass %, release readiness.\nWeekly QA report for leadership\nRequirements\nRequired Skills & Experience\n· 5+ years of QA experience (at least 2 years in automation).\n·Strong manual testing expertise in eCommerce, SaaS, or enterprise applications.\n·Hands-on experience with automation tools: Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Postman (API testing).\n·Experience in cross-browser/cross-device testing (Chrome, Safari, iOS, Android, etc.).\n·Knowledge of CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).\n·Proficiency in bug tracking/project management tools (Jira, Zoho Projects, Trello).\n·Familiarity with performance/security testing tools is a plus (JMeter, OWASP ZAP).\n·Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.\nPreferred Domain Knowledge\n·Shopify/Shopify Plus platforms.\n·ERP/OMS/WMS/API integrations.\n·SaaS product workflows.\nMobile app (iOS/Android) testing\nRequired Skills & Experience\n· Experience: 4-6 years in QA (at least 1 in automation).\n· Domain Knowledge: eCommerce (Shopify, Magento, Woo), SaaS workflows, ERP/OMS/Payment integrations.\n·Tools & Tech:\noManual: Jira/Zoho Projects, TestRail/Sheets.\noAutomation: Cypress/Playwright, Selenium (optional).\noAPI: Postman, Newman.\noCI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins.\noPerformance: JMeter (basic).\n·Soft Skills:\noStrong documentation and process-driven mindset.\noClient-facing confidence to lead UAT.\noCoaching ability to train juniors.\nKey Attributes for Binary\n· Process Owner: Can set up and enforce QA culture (currently missing at Binary).\n·Hands-On Leader: Not just strategy -
