Working at Arvato means: Together, we’re on it.\n The Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist will be responsible for promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with corporate and local/state/federal safety standards, and maintaining a safe working environment. They will maintain safety programs and inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment, and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA, and industry standards. The EHS Specialist will conduct training and coaching for associates on observed work habits; perform safety observations & audits; train and assist others in completing their safety responsibilities (Audits, Following Safety Rules, etc.); and provide specific safety training as required.\nYOUR TASKS\nMaintain and administer site-specific safety programs.\nConduct training and coach associates on observed work habits.\nLead and engage a site safety committee.\nMaintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to report to onsite management teams.\nConduct risk assessments related to jobs performed and new equipment introductions.\nExecute emergency response drills.\nTrack and facilitate trainings across the different jobs functions as needed.\nSupport incident reporting and investigation.\nConduct root cause analyses.\nComplete or facilitate inspections of all safety-related equipment, PPE, and procedures.\nEnsure site complies with all local, state and federal environmental regulations.\nFulfill client-related EHS requirements.\nIdentify and inform management of hazards, compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly, and monthly audits. \n 3+ years’ experience in an Environment, Health & Safety related field \nOSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification \nExperience in emergency response planning and procedures \nStrong communication skills \nPreferred Qualifications:\nHolds First Aid / CPR certification \nPIT safety awareness \nHazard identification / risk assessment experience \nIncident reporting / investigation experience \nWarehouse operations or logistics experience \nEnvironmental compliance experience \nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field. \n Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability Pay.\n401(k) with company matching up to 6%.\nPaid Time Off, including paid holidays.\nFlexible Spending Accounts.\nVoluntary benefits such as legal and financial assistance, pet insurance, and more.\nEmployee Assistance Program.\nOngoing employee development opportunities including tuition reimbursement, scholarships, and training.\nCommuter benefits.\nEmployee engagement activities. \nDisclosure requirements pertaining to the collection of your personal data:\nResponsible for processing the information provided in your application is the company specified in the job advertisement, with its registered office as indicated.
