The Portfolio Manager sits at the intersection of product, data, operations, implementation, and customer partnership - leading a team of Forward Deployed Product Manager (FDPM) ICs while staying deeply hands-on yourself.\nYou'll own a portfolio of Doss's most complex, high-value client relationships and lead your team through the full post-sales lifecycle:\nDiscovery: partnering with cross-functional client leadership to analyze operational and financial workflows (flow of goods, information, and money)\n\nProduct Design: data model, workflows, and integrations\n\nBuild/Configure on the DOSS platform\n\nUAT and Go-live\n\nYou'll manage a team of Forward Deployed Product Managers, setting the standard for quality and pace while staying in the weeds alongside your team. This is a player-coach role - you're not just directing, you're doing.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead a team of FDPMs across a portfolio of upper mid-market and enterprise clients - you're accountable for team output, client outcomes, and individual development\n\nStay hands-on across the end-to-end post-sales lifecycle: discovery, design, implementation, and go-live - this is a player-coach role and you'll be in the work, not above it\n\nOwn the success of Doss's most complex client relationships; your portfolio is a direct reflection of your team's execution\n\nConduct and lead cross-functional deep dives across customer organizations to map end-to-end business processes and workflows\n\nDrive and contribute to new product capabilities that support Doss's push to upper mid-market and enterprise\n\nSet the standard for best-in-class practices and processes across the team - build what doesn't exist, improve what does\n\nTranslate process flows into product design and configuration within the DOSS platform\n\nPartner with technical teams on integrations and data migrations\n\nLead the portfolio through UAT, training, and go-live support across your portfolio; build relationships that drive retention and expansion\n\nCoach your FDPM on client management, problem-solving frameworks, and delivery quality - and create the feedback loops that accelerate their growth\n\nDrive automation and AI-forward improvements to Doss's product and customer lifecycle processes - we're an AI-native company and team\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n5+ years of leadership experience in engineering, consulting, finance, operations, product operations, or technical program management - leading or mentoring others; ERP experience is a major plus but not a requirement\n\nSystems Thinker.
