This is an exciting role with career advancement opportunities to play a pivotal role in financial strategy, analysis, and reporting for a business entity that is part of a public Fortune 500 company.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nThe FP&A Manager and Controller is Responsible for financial analysis and reporting, assisting with month-end close, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, financial systems, and supervising the accounting team. A successful person is highly analytical, detailed, accurate and organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills and takes initiatives to drive continuous improvement.\nJOB DUTIES\nPrepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports, including financial results and forecasts.\nLead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.\nTrack and report key business metrics, providing insights to drive performance improvements.\nLead the annual budgeting process and financial reviews for the annual pricing process.\nCreate financial models and conduct ad hoc analysis to support commercial, operational, and engineering teams.\nAct as a power user of ERP, Business Intelligence (BI) Tools, and Consolidation systems.\nSupervise internal staff, including Costing Analysts and Staff Accountants.\nManage an outsourced team handling accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), credit, collections, sales tax filings, and the month-end close process.\nDrive key performance metrics, such as Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and reduction of accounts receivable past dues.\nApprove customer and supplier master data, credit limits, and credit memo requests.\nOversee Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, internal audits, and timely remediation across all company sites. Organize and perform annual testing, track progress, and drive closure of remediation efforts.\nEnsure adherence to accounting policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, tax regulations, and other applicable rules.\nOversee accounting programs such as credit card processors, electronic workflows, and record retention systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.\nLead accounting-related projects and process improvements.\nManage special assignments and other projects as needed.\nWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n8 or more years’ experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting.\nStrong knowledge of US GAAP and proven experience in month-end close processes.\nExpertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.\nExperience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and auditing.\nSolid manufacturing costing experience.\nAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; MS Access is a plus.\nStrong familiarity with ERP and Business Intelligence systems.\nSKILLS REQUIRED\nHighly analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nProven ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.\nSelf-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.\nProblem-solving mindset with strong decision-making capabilities.\nCollaborative team player with a commitment to building strong business partnerships.\nStrong service orientation with a focus on delivering results.\nIn-depth knowledge of integrated accounting software and business intelligence systems.\nEDUCATION REQUIREMENT S\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business or Economics\nMaster’s degree a plus.\n\nPay Range: USD 125000 - 150000 Annually\n\nWe consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
