Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, this role executes daily work orders while continuously driving departmental efficiency and strict EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) compliance.\nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nAssociate degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or maintenance engineering technology preferred.\nExperience:\nMinimum 4 years related on-the-job facilities experience required.\nForklift experience required.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nProficient in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems, as well as welding, shop machinery, and pneumatic/hand tools.\nProficient in general maintenance work such as, but not limited to, patching, painting, framing, and concrete repair.\nAbility to follow detailed instructions to complete routine procedures and/or operate standard equipment.\nAbility to use a computer and digital Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log work and track parts.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, internal customers, external vendors, and suppliers.\nStrong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar equipment and develop solutions independently when manuals and instructions are unavailable.\nDemonstrate high attention to detail, consistently meeting work order requirements and daily goals safely and accurately.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nPerform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on air compressors, dryers, forklifts, all Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment, and pallet jacks.\nAssists with installation of new equipment by preparing the site utilities, clearing the space, handling of equipment into final locations, and making final utility terminations.\nDiagnose and performs the necessary mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs on production and non-production equipment. \nSupport general building maintenance and renovations, such as drywall installation, framing, painting, and office furniture relocation.\nExecute scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment according to manufacturer and company guidelines.\nInstall and maintain utility lines, including air, water, gas, and electrical systems.\nComplete and document CMMS work orders accurately while upholding all safety and quality standards.\nAnalyze departmental KPIs to recommend data-driven improvements to equipment and workflows.\nAdheres strictly to the Company's Safety Program, including NFPA 70E Arc Flash safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and appropriate safety protocols.\nMust be knowledgeable of and comply with the Company’s policies and procedures.\nMaintain attendance as required by company policies.\nWork overtime as required.\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\nTravel: Generally, travel is not required\nPhysical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee for successful performance of the essential functions of this job.
