We are Dover Precision Components, #LifeAtDPC\nResponsibilities:\nDisassemble, inspect, clean, and record measurements of returned customer parts\nCommunicate findings via email to Applications Engineers and/or Supply Chain\nFollows BOM and drawings to verify and assemble valves, actuators, unloaders, Rebecca valve assemblies, and other valve related assemblies\nReads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain if part meets required drawing dimensions.\nDeburrs or assists in deburring parts as needed using hand tools or powered tools\nAdjusts torque wrenches\nPerforms and Observes leak tests to ensure valves are sealing correctly\nPerform visual inspections of components and complete final inspection reports\nMinimum required qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nMust be able to measure parts using micrometers, calipers or other measuring tools\nMust be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints\nThe ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities:\nClear communication, both oral and written\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office\nOrganization skills; keep area clean to 5S standards\nPrior shop or mechanical experience desired\nPrior assembler or field service technician experience preferred\nMust have a sense of urgency\nMust be extremely flexible to adjust to continually changing demands and adjust production plan to meet the demands\nWork independently and require little supervision\nMental/Visual/Physical Effort:\nThe employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear\noccasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and taste or smell\nmust frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nMaterial Hazards:\nRegularly exposed to moving mechanical parts\nOccasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration\nThe noise level in the work environment is usually loud.\n\nThis position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.\n\nWe consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
