While our Antigo facility is locally known and trusted as Waukesha Bearings, we are proud to be part of a global organization delivering performance-critical solutions across the oil & gas, power generation, marine, industrial, chemical, and general processing markets.\nTogether as Dover Precision Components, we design and manufacture mission-critical equipment components that help deliver more affordable, cleaner energy solutions and enable manufacturers around the world to operate more efficiently.\nNight Shift hours are Monday to Thursday: 3:00 pm to 1:00 am.\nDuties\nActively promote and participate in advancing the safety culture of the facility.\nRead, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements.\nLocate and download programs from a DNC storage system.\nInterpret work instructions.\nIdentify, select and install proper tooling for operations being performed.\nCalculate proper feeds and speeds for a variety of steel grades, copper, brass, aluminum and bronze\nRead, understand, edit and/or write programs.\nUnderstand capabilities of tooling and machinery.\nUnderstand applicable quality systems and perform necessary quality inspections.\nAdhere to all Waukesha Bearings policies and procedures.\nSeek out and participate in Continuous Improvement opportunities.\nSet up all necessary measuring equipment and routinely check the calibration of the equipment while measuring.\nCreate and maintain a team focused work environment.\nThe Ideal Candidate Possesses the Following Experience, Skills, And Abilities:\nAt minimum Manufacturing experience with prior experience with precision inspection equipment including, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges\nOne year Machine Tool Operation certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience\nThe ideal candidate can work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.\nThe ideal candidate has experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines or CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.\nThe ideal candidate has knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and CAM programming software for toolpath creation.\nThe ideal candidate has familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings.\nThe ideal candidate has ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines confidently.\nThe ideal candidate will demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and lean manufacturing practices within a fast-paced production setting.\nMust be a U.S. citizen (due to ITAR and UNNPI regulatory requirements)\n\nThis position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.\n\nWe consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
