Come and join us!\nLead and develop shift production and related activities. Drive production team in meeting and exceeding daily/weekly safety, quality, delivery and cost measurements. Perform other duties as per request of managers within agreed job competences.\nResponsibilities\nManage shift production department, organize tasks and projects for dedicated personnel.\nFacilitate and lead communication between shifts and coordinate with other departments and functions.\nInvolvement with creation of standard work practices and ensuring employees follow those processes.\nClose cooperation with other departments to keep and improve quality standards, on time delivery, material flow, etc.\nManage production hourly weekly timesheets.\nParticipate in continuous improvement projects and drive change management within department.\nEnsure all employees within department are trained on, and following, standard procedures.\nConduct quarterly coaching sessions with shift production hourly employees to promote personal development.\nManage work and set expectations of team members.\nAnalyze current workflow/processes from all shifts and propose improvements.\nWork with functional and support teams to create high performance cells and value stream.\nFollow SWEP’s targets and KPI’s, organize and implement actions to get desired results.\nBuilds teams based on coordinating varied skill sets and capabilities, common goals and specific timelines.\nOversee daily operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols.\nProvide hands-on training and guidance to employees regarding safe work practices.\nConduct safety briefings and toolbox talks regularly.\nReport incidents, hazards, and near-misses to management promptly.\nEnsure all equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained\nQualifications, Education, and Experience\nCommercial and/or Technical Education or experience in similar position.\nMinimum 5 years’ work experience in manufacturing\n3 years’ supervisory experience\nSkills and Competencies\nProven leadership experience and capability.\nExposure in an ISO certified manufacturing environment.\nGood team spirit, well developed interpersonal skills.\nGood command of written and oral English language.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, internet and email\nAbility to use production control systems and standard office automation tools.\nAbility to self-motivate and possess independent problem solving.\nPositive attitude and be committed to achieving business excellence.\n\nWe consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
