Recognized for our entrepreneurial approach for over 65 years, our team of over 24,000 employees takes an ownership mindset, collaborating with customers to redefine what's possible.\nResponsible in coordinating the movement of materials and shipments through the various departments of PSG California to ensure the highest level of OTD and OTIF, while also supporting the Export Documentation Clerk team as needed.\nEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent\nExperience:\nExport shipping documentation required\nShipping international shipments required\nCoordinating with freight forwarders and carriers required\nShipping small parcel and LTL freight shipments\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nCapable of problem solving, troubleshooting and properly escalating issues as needed\nAbility to effectively communicate, prioritize and coordinate with internal and external customers in a professional manner\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nExperience in Oracle or any ERP system required\nMicrosoft Office - Excel, Outlook\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nTaking ownership of the expedites and hot order shipments each day\nInvestigating, coordinating, and following up with various departments to ensure shipments are produced and leave our facility in a timely manner\nProviding domestic and international freight quotes to the Customer Service Team\nResponsible for the filing of claims for missing shipments and damage claims with carriers\nSupport the Logistics Team in investigating corrective actions issues by the Quality Team\nAssist with executing PSG California’s export operational processes and procedures for international export shipping documentation as needed\nGenerate and review all functions of the export paperwork process to ensure accuracy for custom’s clearance in countries all over the world\nGenerating of international paperwork: to include Financial Invoices (FI), Commercial Invoices (CI), Shipper’s Letter of Instruction (SLI), Packing List\nAuditing and verifying the net and gross weights along with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)\nCommunicating with freight forwarders and providing all international export documentation with the shipments before it leaves the PSG California facility\nFollow up with freight forwarders to obtain the Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings to ensure we are within compliance\nFiling of Automated Export System (AES) documents\nFiling of scanned and signed BOLs\nMaintaining the company’s GT-Export Team email account\nReviewing, filing, and organizing with the current systems in place\nDownloading and filing reports from the internal database\nCoordinate and support with the internal customers service and shipping/logistics teams\nAssists in the maintenance of appropriate recordkeeping and due diligence in accordance with all governing regulatory requirements\nFollow all safety rules and regulations and promote 5S\nFlexible to work overtime and occasional Saturdays when required\nPerforms all other duties assigned\nBenefits for this position include: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; medical, dental and vision insurance; wellness programs; health savings account, health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts; company paid short-term disability and long-term disability; company paid employee basic life and AD&D insurance; supplemental employee and dependent life insurance; optional accident, hospital indemnity and critical illness insurance; adoption, surrogacy, and fertility benefits and assistance; commuter benefits; parental, military, jury duty, and bereavement leaves of absence; paid time off, including 11 paid holidays per calendar year, paid vacation days beginning at 120 hours annually, 40 paid sick leave hours annually or as provided under state and local paid sick leave laws, tuition assistance; business travel services; employee discounts; and an employee assistance program that includes company paid counseling sessions and legal services.
