Headquartered in Austin, TX, DFS has a significant technology development and manufacturing presence worldwide, including facilities in Brazil, China, India, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.\nPosition Summary:\nLocation: Lombard, IL\nWork Policy: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day work from home per week)\nThe ideal candidate will build scalable web applications, contribute to cloud-native deployments, and collaborate across product and engineering teams.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using ReactJS or AngularJS for front-end and Node.js or C#/.NET for back-end services.\nDevelop, test, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end applications, including writing and executing unit tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.\nBuild reusable UI components and ensure responsive, high-performance user interfaces.\nDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.\nCollaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to deliver high-quality features.\nImplement secure coding practices and ensure application reliability and performance.\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.\nSupport cloud deployments and infrastructure integration across AWS and Azure.\nParticipate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies using tools such as GitHub, Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps.\nTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.\nMaintain technical documentation and contribute to development standards.\nQualification Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field.\n5+ years of software development experience in full stack roles.\nHands-on experience with ReactJS and/or AngularJS.\nStrong back-end development experience with Node.js and/or C# (.NET/.NET Core).\nExperience building APIs, microservices, and integrating databases (SQL/NoSQL).\nWorking knowledge of DevOps concepts: CI/CD, source control, build/release pipelines.\nPractical exposure to cloud services in both AWS and Azure.\nExperience with project/task management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (VSTS) and GitHub.\nStrong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation).\nExposure monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK, etc.).\nExperience with authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).\nDomain exposure to fuel dispensers/payment/POS systems is a plus.\nTechnical Skills Snapshot:\nFront-end: ReactJS, AngularJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3\nBack-end: Node.js, C#, .NET/.NET Core, REST APIs, Kafka\nCloud: AWS, Azure\nDevOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines, build/release automation, Docker, Kubernetes\nTools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Postman, VS Code/Visual Studio, GitHub\nDatabases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB (or equivalent), ClickHouse.\n\nPay Range: USD 98,556.00 - 124,444.00 Annually\n\nThis position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.\n\nWe consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
