Headquartered in Austin, TX, DFS has a significant technology development and manufacturing presence worldwide, including facilities in Brazil, China, India, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.\nPosition Summary:\nA Software Engineer in Test is a software engineering role within Dover Fueling Solutions that adheres to test implementations. There is the expectation they will learn what is important to our business, and make good decisions about what to test, how deeply to test it, and the best approach to testing it- all with an intense customer focus. Quality is everything and these engineers are entrusted to ensure that is exactly what is being delivered to our customers. This position will create and execute exploratory, end-to-end, and manual and automated tests that allow the whole team to move faster while assuring the highest quality for our customers.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test cases and scripts.\nAuthor, maintain, and execute manual test scripts as required to supplement automated testing for Functional, End-to-End and Regression testing to ensure comprehensive coverage of both business and technical requirements.\nGenerate required test and defect reports while providing timely communication to stakeholders.\nLog, track, and manage defects using Jira or equivalent issue tracking tools, collaborating with development and QA teams for prompt resolution.\nSet up and maintain different test environments that will include SW/HW\nDevelop and maintain requirements traceability matrices to validate all contractual, functional, and technical requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.\nParticipate actively in Agile development ceremonies and workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an iterative development environment.\nSupport development, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production environments, including troubleshooting test cases and addressing system issues as needed.\nWork effectively with members of the project team to ensure project success and champion high quality throughout the project\nProactively seek ways to incorporate new/creative ideas and methodologies into testing efforts by keeping abreast of current methodologies, technologies and tools\nQualification Requirements:\nBachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent\n3-5 years of experience in software testing\nGood understanding of cloud computing platforms such as Azure, IOT technologies etc.\nKnowledge on Payments, POS preferably.\nProficiency in at least one programming language (preferably C#)\nHands-on experience in test automation along with strong API automation testing experience\nExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.\nProven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.\nMust be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team and keep stakeholders informed of progress toward goals\nAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately\nAbility to build trust and maintain relationships across technical and business teams\nAbility to quickly gain domain knowledge, focus on prioritizing opportunities for test automation and build stable and repeatable automation frameworks and scripts\nExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and strong teamwork relationships\n\nPay Range: USD 98,244 - 124,027 Annually\n\nThis position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.\n\nWe consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
