OPW is part of the Clean Energy & Fueling segment of Dover (NYSE: DOV).\nThis role is based onsite in our Elon assembly facility and has a base schedule of Monday through Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Ability to work overtime as needed is required.\nAbout the Role:\nThe Team Lead is responsible for supervising a diverse team, ensuring the efficient and high quality production of products. This includes monitoring work progress, training employees, and communicating production goals and procedure changes. We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of the assembly process and prior experience in a Team Lead role. In addition, Team Lead II’s must have high attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively, skill in critical thinking and problem-solving, and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.\nWhat You'll Get to Do:\nLead safety toolbox talks, participate in monthly plant safety meetings, & 6S Kaizen events.\nPerform in process layered audits to ensure procedures are being followed and documentation is being completed thoroughly.\nMaintain LDM boards with correct data, owners, and actions.\nUpdate hour by hour boards to demonstrate team performance and work order status.\nReview and execute work-center schedules for on-time delivery.\nCoordinate with Maintenance department to ensure machine uptime status is optimized.\nAssign daily tasks & duties to operators.\nManage rework and scrap process.\nMaintain accurate inventory data on all components counted for scrap, excess, etc.\nMaintain FIFO and WIP lanes.\nLead and participate in kaizen events aimed to eliminate waste and to increase productivity.\nWork with training coordinator to develop team members. \nWhat You Bring to the Role:\nAssociates degree in related field or equivalent experience\nMust demonstrate integrity in all aspects of performance.\nAbility to perform work in a safe manner.\nAbility to stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).\nSkill in critical thinking or using logic and reasoning to identify the strength and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems.\nSkill in problem detection and solving or recognizing when something is wrong, or likely to go wrong, and using critical thinking to execute a solution.\nHigh attention-to-detail, including the ability to accurately follow instructions and execute production.\nAbility to manage a diverse group of people.\nAbility to disseminate information thoroughly and accurately to a multilingual population.\nAt least 1-3 years of leadership experience as a team lead or a similar role.\n\nThis position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.\n\nWe consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
