Maintains and repairs all types of analyzer equipment within craft knowledge and expertise. Participates on maintenance team which supports reliability improvement across all Operations facilities.\nRequires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.\nResponsibilities - Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role\nThis is a field maintenance repair position. The candidate is expected to have a demonstrable mechanical aptitude related to the repair and/or operation of chemical process equipment.\nPosition requires working at grade as well as being able to climb stairs, ladders, and access remote portion of a large chemical plant.\nPosition is a base 40 hour schedule, however mandatory overtime will be required on an as needed basis including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on plant needs.\nPosition will be included on the site analyzer shop call out list. The candidate will be expected to promptly accept call outs and come in to the plant after hours to respond to emergency situations including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nCandidate is required to abide by all Dow procedures and safety protocols. The use of PPE may be required for certain activities related to this position.\nRequired Qualifications - Required education, experience and abilities that are needed for this role (must haves)\nA minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.\n2 or more years of operations experience in a chemical manufacturing plant.\nCurrently dual crafted or willing to obtain in instrumentation or electrician.\nMust possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.\nPreferred Qualifications - An expanded list of qualifications that are \"nice to have\", but not essential\n5+ years direct field experience troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation or process analyzer systems in a chemical or petrochemical plant setting.\nAn Associate's degree or higher in a technical field.\nSkills - Specific abilities and expertise required to perform tasks effectively in this role (must haves)\nProcess Analyzer Maintenance - Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots process analyzers and associated instrumentation systems to ensure reliable plant operations.\nMechanical Aptitude - Demonstrates strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills related to chemical process equipment and field maintenance activities.\nPreventive & Reliability Maintenance - Supports equipment reliability initiatives by identifying issues, executing maintenance plans, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.\nSafety & Regulatory Compliance - Adheres to plant safety procedures, PPE requirements, and operational standards while performing maintenance in a chemical manufacturing environment.\nTechnical Troubleshooting & Problem Solving - Diagnoses equipment failures, evaluates root causes, and implements effective corrective actions to minimize downtime and restore functionality.\n**The Dow Chemical Company does not offer relocation assistance for this position.
