If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place.\nAbout you and this role\nDow has an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Analyst - Power Platform located in Midland, MI or Houston, TX.\nIn this role, the individual will support the development, testing, deployment, administration, and ongoing support of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and AI Builder. The individual will work with experienced developers, platform engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and citizen developers to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable business solutions. The role provides an opportunity to build technical expertise across Power Platform development, platform administration, governance, application lifecycle management, integration, and emerging AI capabilities. The individual will participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, documentation, monitoring, and production support.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, test, deploy, and support solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and other Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.\nAssist with the development of Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, workflows, and process automation solutions.\nWork with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.\nFollow established Power Platform development standards, governance requirements, security practices, and reusable solution patterns.\nSupport the Power Platform ecosystem, including environments, solution deployments, access management, connectors, and platform configuration.\nAssist with platform governance activities, including security roles, environment access, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and governance controls.\nSupport application lifecycle management (ALM), including solution management, deployment pipelines, source control, environment promotions, and release activities.\nMonitor application and automation performance and assist with identifying and resolving operational issues.\nTroubleshoot application failures, Power Automate flow failures, integration issues, and production incidents, escalating complex issues when needed.\nParticipate in solution reviews, testing, and technical quality checks to ensure solutions meet established standards.\nDevelop and maintain solution documentation, deployment instructions, operational procedures, knowledge articles, and support documentation.\nAssist with developing reusable components, templates, standards, and development guidance.\nCollaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, infrastructure, and other technical teams to support secure and compliant solutions.\nLearn and evaluate emerging capabilities across Power Platform, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Generative AI, and the Microsoft ecosystem.\nSupport Power Platform users and citizen developers by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance.\nParticipate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, development, testing, deployment, and production support.\nContinuously develop technical skills and identify opportunities to improve applications, automation solutions, development practices, and user experience.\nQualifications\nA minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.\nA minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
