If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place.\nAbout This Role\nYou can execute the maintenance tasks in a safe, efficient and effective way according to the job description.\nResponsibilities\nAssures that all Maintenance Procedures include a hazard assessment indicating safety, health and environmental considerations and control measures to prevent contact or exposure. \nObtain the work permit. \nPerform the task for the job package.\nIf significant additional problems are identified during the job that may need a new work order, thoroughly investigate the source/cause of the problem according to the value-added work process.\nComplete the work and return equipment to operations.\nAssist in the analysis to ensure the problem is corrected. \nApply the skills of respective trade/craft/discipline in executing maintenance work.\nLeverage trade skills to apprentice and other maintenance associates. \nAssist in the development of Maintenance Work Procedures. \nFeedback information on job package quality and Root Cause Analysis data as required.\nDocument/record history. \nAssist in maintenance planning. \nFollows job plan to complete work. \nFollows standard work procedures where available. \nRequired Qualifications\nA minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nA minimum of 2 years of mechanical rotating equipment and flange make up experience.\nWorking knowledge of basic process equipment (pumps, blowers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).\nMust be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays, if required.\nMust be willing to work overtime (extra hours beyond your regular scheduled) if required.\nMust have a current, valid US driver’s license. \nA minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of reciprocating compressors.\nNCCER Certification, Trade School or Associates Degree in a related field.\nSAP experience.\nExperience using Microsoft Office software.\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation.\nMust be willing and able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. \nMust be willing and able to wear safety equipment, such as earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes. \nMust be willing and able to wear and use respirators. \nMust be willing and able to perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.\nMust be willing and able to work in tight or closed-in spaces. \nMust be willing and able to climb stairs/ladders and work high off the ground. \nMust be willing and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.\nWork at heights greater than or equal to 4 ft off the ground. Must be able to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE), including harnesses with a total weight capacity of 300lbs.
