This role is located in Croydon (PA, USA). The Production Operator works under the immediate direction of the Activity Coordinator (in a team-based environment) and must work in a safe manner following all safety rules and regulations. The Production Operator must also work as a team member to improve safety culture, quality and production.\nResponsibilities:\nDemonstrate safe work behaviour at all times\nRead and follow operating instructions\nKeep accurate written records\nMonitor process and equipment using various control systems\nObserve product quality and make required changes, and corrections with minimal supervision\nHandle 50 LB containers of dry raw materials for addition to the process\nRead and understand Instruments: Pressure, temperature and level gauges, controllers \nWork with hazardous materials (flammables, corrosives, combustibles, toxics, etc)\nOperate equipment including pumps, valves, walk-behind lift, labelers, printers\nChange filters, remove and dispose of used filters\nOperate and maintain a forklift in a safe and efficient manner\nPerform light maintenance tasks as needed\nMaintain orderly work and storage area\nGeneral housekeeping, sweeping, trash removal, water-blasting, painting, cleaning equipment\nRespond to and take appropriate action for all plant emergencies\nPossess good verbal and written communication skills in English\nMaintain daily records and reports\nQualifications:\nA minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nA minimum of 3 years of experience in a chemical plant as a board/control operator or similar role.\nWilling and able to work a 12-hour rotating shift\nWilling and able to work overtime as needed.\nProficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.\nValid U.S. driver's license.\nA minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
