In this role, you will oversee critical cost accounting processes, support month-end close activities, manage supply chain accounting requirements, and provide valuable financial insights to support decision-making.\nYou will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving operational excellence through automation, standardization, and business partnership.\nResponsibilities\nLead and support month-end closing activities, including the generation, review, and analysis of global cost accounting reports.\nReview and analyze Product Cost Estimate (PCE) results and provide insights into cost performance and variances.\nManage supply chain cost accounting activities, including cost center accounting, cost allocations, and financial reporting.\nCoordinate inventory stock take activities, perform reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of inventory accounting processes.\nConduct cost center reviews, cycle count assessments, and support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.\nRepresent the Cost Accounting team in finance transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, automation efforts, and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) programs.\nQualifications\nQualified CA or CMA with a minimum of 2 years of relevant costing or cost accounting experience.\nInter CA, Inter CMA, or MBA with 5+ years of accounting and costing experience.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or a related discipline with 5+ years of relevant professional experience.\nStrong understanding of cost accounting principles, financial controls, inventory accounting, and budgeting processes.\nExperience working in a manufacturing, supply chain, or shared services environment is preferred.\nYour Skills\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities.\nAdvanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and related productivity tools.\nExperience with Power BI, automation tools, and enterprise reporting systems.\nProven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and provide solutions to operational and financial challenges.\nStrong business acumen with the ability to act as a trusted business partner.\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nProactive communication style and strong interpersonal skills.\nFluency in English, both verbal and written.\nAdditional Notes\nRelocation assistance is not available for this position.\nFlexibility to support global operations and work across international time zones is essential.\nThis role provides opportunities to contribute to finance transformation initiatives, automation projects, and continuous improvement programs.\nCandidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to operational excellence, teamwork, and delivering high-quality financial support to the business.\nBenefits - What Dow offers you\nWe invest in you. \nDow invests in total rewards programs to help you manage all aspects of you: your pay, your health, your life, your future, and your career.
