If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place.\nAbout this role\nThe Shift Operator is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing processes and equipment within the plant. This role supports continuous operations by monitoring process conditions, troubleshooting operational issues, executing routine field activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, environmental compliance, and operational excellence while contributing to the achievement of plant performance objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nFollow Operating Discipline principles, procedures, and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.\nOperate and conduct field checks on process equipment; monitor process conditions, equipment performance, and control systems.\nPerform operational tasks in accordance with the Operation Dashboard/Compliance Task Tool, including equipment preparation, sampling, inspections, and routine plant rounds.\nEnsure operational activities and process performance are aligned with plant safety, quality, production, and business objectives.\nConduct process troubleshooting, minor repairs, operational improvements, and preventive maintenance activities using established work processes and safety disciplines.\nInvestigate and resolve process deviations and equipment-related issues using problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques.\nInitiate and participate in Root Cause Investigations as required.\nPerform emergency and immediate response activities when assigned.\nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve plant performance, reliability, safety, and operating discipline.\nMonitor, collect, and record plant performance data related to Statistical Process Control (SPC), asset utilization, production yields, and conversion costs.\nUtilize SPC (Statistical Process Control) tools and process data to optimize plant operations and improve process effectiveness.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives, productivity projects, and cost-reduction programs.\nMaintain high standards of housekeeping, environmental compliance, and workplace safety.\nWork effectively within shift teams to ensure smooth plant operations and successful shift handovers.\nQualifications\nITE Certificate, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or higher qualification in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, process manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.\nFresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
