Our purpose is simple - to deliver a sustainable future for the world through science and collaboration.If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place.\nAbout this role:\nPosition: Technical Service & Development (TS&D) intern \nLength of internship: 6 months or 24 weeks (5 days/week) internship opportunity\nLocation: Solaris, Singapore\nBusiness alignment: This intern is aligned to Dow Consumer Solutions (DCS) business, supporting Pressure Sensitive Industry (PSI) segment \nJob Role & Responsibility:\nSafety training and training on industrial applications will be provided.\nWork closely with TS&D professionals and support customer or innovative projects\nCarry out formulation work of silicone release liner and silicone adhesive, etc: sample preparation, testing of samples in a safe, reliable and timely manner.\n Handling of solvents and solvent-based adhesives are required\nSummarize data into reports of proper format for communication, review and presentation\nSupport a sustainable lab safety culture, includinglab safety procedure/documentation is in place\nlab chemical inventory management to comply with regulation\nlab equipment readiness and maintenance\n\nRequirements:\nPolytechnic or University students majoring in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Material Science or related field. \nSafety consciousness\nSelf-motivated Team player\nLike Lab environment\nLiterate with office software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint\nDow respects people as core Dow Inclusion and Diversity value.
