You’ll be a hands-on storyteller who can take an idea from concept to publish: scripting, shooting, and editing your own work with a sharp sense of what performs on YouTube. You will also work with other team members to produce, shoot or edit across other projects as well.\nYou Will:\n- Research, pitch, write and produce original short and long form video stories about business, personal finance, markets, technology, and the economy.\n- Conduct interviews and write scripts that explain complex financial ideas in a clear, engaging and relatable way.\n- Shoot and edit videos, managing everything from lighting and framing to post-production.\n- Work closely with the Senior Director of Video to refine story structure, visuals, and editorial accuracy.\n- Adapt content for multiple formats - YouTube explainers, on site clips, and social/vertical video.\n- Incorporate graphics and data to help audiences visualize trends and financial concepts.\n- Collaborate across teams to optimize reach and engagement.\n- Use and report on analytics to understand what drives performance and apply insights to future projects.\n- Appear on camera as needed to host videos.\nYou Have:\n- 3-5 years of experience producing, shooting, and editing video and producing journalism in video, audio or print.\n- Proven track record of YouTube success.\n- Demonstrated experience producing compelling news, explainer, documentary and character driven videos.\n- Strong journalistic skills, including but not limited to: story ideation, research, fact-checking, sourcing experts and real people, interviewing subjects and experts, and sifting through and understanding data to produce compelling videos.\n- A good understanding of business/finance news and current affairs.\n- Ability to produce, shoot and edit both documentary on location videos and in-studio interviews.\n- Skilled with multiple camera setups, including but not limited to the Sony FS7, A7S and multiple lighting setups.\n- Professional competency editing with Adobe Premiere and using or creating professional graphics utilizing After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.\n- Academic coursework in journalism (whether in undergrad or graduate school) is preferred.\n- On camera experience is a plus.\nOur Benefits\nComprehensive Healthcare Plans\nPaid Time Off\nRetirement Plans\nComprehensive Insurance Plans\nLifestyle Programs & Wellness Resources\nEducation Benefits\nFamily Care Benefits & Caregiving Support\nCommuter Transit Program\nSubscription Discounts\nEmployee Referral Program\nFinancial Health Programs\nCybersecurity Protection\nLearn more about us and our benefits click here.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
