About you and this role

DOW has an opening for SAP QM Consultant (Solution specialist)whoDesigns, develops, and supports solutions and processes to meet business needs and requirements. Applies expanded conceptual knowledge in Information Systems as well as knowledge of the company, key business drivers, and processes in order to develop solutions.

In this role, you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function. You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your discipline or functional area. You are expected to provide informal guidance to new team members and be able to explain complex information to others.

It is your responsibility to use technical experience, establishedpractices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance impactsthe quality of your own work and your team’s work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Support SAP Quality Management (QM) solutions that enable quality processes across global manufacturing operations .
  • Partner with quality business process experts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate them into scalable and supportable technology solutions .
  • Lead functional analysis, solution design, testing, deployment, and support activities for SAP QM enhancements and projects.
  • Support quality execution processes by addressing application issues related to inspection lots, results recording, usage decisions, quality notifications, quality reporting, and batch-related quality management .
  • Analyze and resolve application, process, data, and integration issues by applying structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis approaches in collaboration with business and technical teams.
  • Support and contribute to project delivery, system upgrades, testing cycles, and deployments impactingquality management applications.
  • Develop and maintainfunctional specifications, testing strategies, support procedures, and knowledge transfer materials to improve solution clarity and supportability.
  • Monitor and support interfaces between SAP Quality Management (QM) solutions and integrated applications to ensure reliable data flow and business continuity.
  • Collaborate with business process experts, developers, architects, and support teams to improve application reliability, usability, and supportability.
  • Participate in incident management, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives supporting a 24x7 manufacturing environment.
  • Provideknowledge transfer and functional guidance to junior team members and support resources .

Qualifications

  • Bachelordegree in IT discipline preferred or aminimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

YourSkills

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing quality management processes and how technology solutions support end-to-end quality execution in global manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience supporting SAP Quality Management (QM) solutions and related manufacturing applications in a production support and delivery environment.
  • Deep understanding of inspection processing, results recording, usage decisions, quality notifications, batch quality management, and quality reporting concepts.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional solution designs and support delivery of scalable and supportable application enhancements.
  • Experience supporting application lifecycle activities including incident management, testing, defect resolution, root cause analysis, and deployment activities.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving application, data, and integration issues across SAP and connected enterprise systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across quality, manufacturing, and IT teams.
  • Strong communicationand documentation skills, including development of functional specifications, testing strategies, and support procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead knowledge transfer activities and provide guidance to junior analysts.
