Based out of Berrimah, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who can coordinate people, plant and resources while fostering a strong safety culture and driving operational excellence.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and supervise asphalt crews, subcontractors, plant and resources across multiple projects. \nPlan and coordinate daily works, resources, plant movements and construction activities. \nMonitor project delivery, productivity, quality outcomes and financial performance. \nBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders. \nCoach, mentor and develop team members while driving accountability and performance. \nIdentify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies.\nPromote and maintain a strong Zero Harm culture.\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING\nCertificate IV in Frontline Management or similar qualification (preferred).\nProven experience in asphalt surfacing, road construction or civil infrastructure operations. \nDemonstrated leadership experience managing crews and resources in a supervisory capacity. \nStrong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills. \nSound knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements. \nExperience managing project budgets, productivity and operational performance. \nExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. \nDowner is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
