Working closely with the Roadmarking Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our Southland Roadmarking operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the link between field crews, clients, and management, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.\nYou'll be responsible for leading the Southland based team ensuring our teams have everything they need to successfully deliver work programmes. You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.\nNo two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:\nManaging resources, programmes, traffic management requirements, and inventory to support efficient contract delivery. \nConducting site visits, network inspections, and quality, safety, and traffic management audits to ensure compliance and performance standards are met. \nCoordinating day-to-day contract administration, reporting, financial documentation, and cost capture processes. \nBuilding strong client and stakeholder relationships through regular communication, meetings, and operational support. \nPromoting Downer's Zero Harm culture while driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, and customer service outcomes.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a supportive team environment while gaining exposure to all aspects of roadmarking operations, contract delivery, resource management, and network performance.\nNga pūkenga matua | Important Skills\nWe're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can confidently coordinate multiple priorities while maintaining strong working relationships across the business.
