You’ll ensure the sweeper truck is presented, serviced and maintained to a high standard while delivering work safely, efficiently and professionally.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperating the sweeper truck safely and efficiently across the road network\n\nCompleting cyclic catchpit cleaning and general road maintenance activities\n\nCarrying out pre-start checks and routine daily servicing\n\nIdentifying hazards and ensuring the work area remains safe\n\nRecording plant faults and completing required documentation, including timesheets, logbooks and run sheets\n\nKeeping the truck, equipment and yard clean and well maintained\n\nWorking alongside the wider production team and assisting other crews when needed\n\nMinimising waste, dust, emissions and other environmental impacts\n\nReporting accidents, incidents and near misses in line with safety requirements\n\nImportant Skills | Nga pūkenga matua\nYou’ll be someone who takes pride in your equipment, works well as part of a crew and understands the importance of completing work safely and to a high standard.\nYou’ll also bring:\nA minimum Class 2 driver licence\nExperience operating specialist plant or heavy equipment\nProven ability to safely operate, care for and maintain plant and equipment\nGood numerical skills and the ability to complete paperwork clearly and accurately\nA practical, mechanically minded approach\nThe physical fitness required for a hands-on operational role\nA strong commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibility\n\nHow to apply | Me pēhea ki te tono\nIf this sounds like the opportunity for you, click Apply Now to submit your application!
