Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in keeping our client's facility critical engineering assets safe, compliant, reliable and operationally fit for purpose.\nReporting to the Asset Manager, you’ll lead the planning, governance and delivery of engineering upgrades, replacements and major asset refresh activities under the hospital’s Public Private Partnership agreement. Your work will support the continuity of essential hospital services while minimising disruption to patients, clinicians and operational teams.\nWhat You’ll Do\nThis role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:\nLead the engineering lifecycle project portfolio, developing scopes, business cases, budgets, schedules, risk registers, procurement packages and closure reports.\nPlan and deliver engineering upgrades with detailed outage, shutdown, isolation and staged cutover arrangements that minimise disruption to clinical services.\nCoordinate procurement, contractors, contract administration, FAT/SAT activities, commissioning, warranties and operational handover.\nWork closely with clinical, operational and technical stakeholders to plan safe access, sequencing and integration in a live hospital environment.\nMaintain lifecycle forecasts and asset information while reporting on project progress, costs, risks, quality and compliance.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nA tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.\nSignificant experience delivering engineering capital or lifecycle projects in complex operational environments, preferably healthcare, PPP or another regulated sector.\nStrong technical understanding of building services such as electrical distribution, HVAC, fire systems, hydraulics, BMCS/BMS, medical gases and vertical transportation.\nDemonstrated capability in project governance, budgeting, risk management, vendor management and multidisciplinary project delivery.\nThe ability to communicate effectively across clinical, technical, commercial, operational and executive stakeholder groups. A PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent project management certification will be highly regarded.\nMore than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
