Working closely with our IDC Renewals team, NZTA and wider stakeholders, you'll help ensure renewal activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.\nKey Responsibilities\nProviding technical expertise to support the planning, scoping and delivery of IDC renewal works\n\nSupporting pavement, surfacing, drainage and structures renewals\n\nUndertaking technical assessments and site investigations, and providing treatment selection input\n\nSupporting project methodologies, programmes, budgets and delivery planning\n\nEnsuring strong quality processes are embedded across renewal activities\n\nWorking collaboratively with NZTA, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams\n\nIdentifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and value\n\nSupporting and mentoring others to build technical capability across the IDC team\n\nContributing to reactive variations and emergency works when required\n\nParticipating in the on-call roster.\n\nImportant Skills | Nga pūkenga matua\nWe're looking for someone with solid experience in the network maintenance and civil construction industry, ideally with exposure to road maintenance and renewals.\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nAn engineering or related qualification, or significant relevant technical and supervisory experience\n\nExperience in civil maintenance programming, cost estimation and performance-based maintenance contracts\n\nExperience across areas such as asset management, design, civil/road construction, surfacing or customer management\n\nA strong understanding of road maintenance practices and asset lifecycle management\n\nKnowledge of safety management systems and quality principles\n\nStrong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nThe ability to build collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery teams\n\nA positive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to safety and quality\n\nA full Class 1 Driver Licence.\n\nOur Organisation | Ko wai mātou\nWant to know more about what it is like to work at Downer?
