Together, we help ensure critical and infrastructure services are at their best when communities need them most.\nWe have an opportunity for an Industry Engagement Coordinator to join our Homes Victoria team. In this role, you will support industry engagement and social procurement outcomes under the Homes Victoria Property Maintenance Services Contract. Your work will help strengthen supplier participation, industry capability and meaningful outcomes for Homes Victoria and the communities we serve.\nWhat You’ll Do\nThis role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:\nCoordinate monitoring and reporting activities related to social procurement outcomes, including Indigenous participation and social benefit supplier engagement.\nIdentify and engage with Indigenous and social benefit suppliers to support a diverse and capable supplier pipeline aligned to Homes Victoria objectives.\nSupport industry capability development by linking suppliers with training programs, industry initiatives and engagement opportunities.\nSupport the SDP Relationship Manager by providing insights, engagement outcomes and coordination that strengthen subcontractor action plans and value-for-money outcomes.\nCoordinate engagement activities, meetings and information exchange with internal and external stakeholders related to industry and social procurement initiatives.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nQualification or background in community development, procurement, social procurement, business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience in industry, supplier or stakeholder engagement roles within government, infrastructure, facilities management or service delivery environments.\nExposure to social procurement, Indigenous engagement or community-based supplier programs.\nUnderstanding of social procurement principles and supplier diversity objectives.\nAbility to coordinate engagement activities and maintain accurate records and reports.\nMore than anything, you will bring sound judgement, a collaborative approach and a commitment to building strong industry relationships and delivering meaningful outcomes for our customer and the communities we serve.\nWhy Downer?\nAt Downer, the work you do matters.
