You’ll also work closely with the client and wider Downer team to identify potential delays, resolve site issues and maintain a productive, safety-focused work environment.\nABOUT YOU\nTrade Qualified: Hold a recognised trade qualification in Boilermaking or Mechanical Fitting.\n\nExperienced Leader: At least five years’ experience in the same or a similar industrial environment, with demonstrated experience leading teams to achieve safety, productivity and delivery targets.\n\nPower Generation Experience: Previous experience within a power station, heavy industrial maintenance or shutdown environment will be highly regarded.\n\nSafety Focused: Demonstrated experience promoting a Zero Harm culture, leading toolbox meetings and ensuring site risks and critical controls are understood and managed.\n\nStrong Planner: Able to review work scopes, coordinate daily activities and effectively manage labour, plant and resources against the work schedule.\n\nTeam Oriented: A clear communicator who can build effective relationships with employees, subcontractors, the client and support teams.\n\nSystems Capable: Competent using Microsoft Office applications, with knowledge of SAP work order management highly regarded.\n\nSite Qualifications: Hold a current C Class Driver Licence, White or Blue Card.\n\nWork Rights: Hold full working rights in Australia and be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical, functional assessment and drug and alcohol screening.\n\nABOUT THE TEAM\nDowner’s Energy & Utilities business is an integrated trans-Tasman team delivering services that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
