With a strong pipeline of work ahead, we are seeking Asphalt Plant Operators to join our plant teams and contribute to the safe, efficient production of quality asphalt. Positions are available at both sites.\nThe Role\nReporting to the Production Foreman, you will be responsible for:\nOperating the plant through the plant control system, including managing feeds, binder delivery, and mix temperatures to specification\nOperating the front-end loader to feed cold bins and manage stockpiles\nLoading and ticketing trucks at the weighbridge\nCarrying out pre-start checks, routine maintenance and housekeeping, and reporting defects promptly\nWorking with the laboratory and maintenance teams to keep production on target and the plant running reliably\nAbout You\nExperience operating an asphalt plant, or a comparable process plant such as a quarry or concrete batching plant. Experience on continuous drum or batch plants is highly regarded.\nFront-end loader ticket or demonstrated loader experience\nSound mechanical understanding and the ability to identify and respond to plant issues\nA high level of accuracy in record-keeping and weighbridge documentation\nA strong commitment to safety and quality\nCurrent WA driver's licence and Construction White Card\nAvailability for early starts, as well as night and weekend work as required by the production program. Our Enterprise Agreement provides overtime opportunities and penalty rates for unsociable hours.\nExperienced asphalt plant operators are strongly encouraged to apply.
