You will provide engineering support, construction planning, schedule management and technical expertise across all phases of project delivery, while working closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineering professional looking to further develop their career within a leading infrastructure services provider.\nKey responsibilities include:\nSupporting the safe execution of projects through active participation in Zero Harm initiatives, risk assessments, SWMS development and safety leadership activities.\nCoordinating site activities including design reviews, construction methodology, scope management, program delivery and stakeholder engagement.\nManaging subcontractor and self perform crews to achieve project objectives within agreed scope, budget and schedule requirements.\nPreparing and reviewing construction methodologies, lift plans, temporary works and constructability assessments.\nMonitoring project schedules, conducting critical path analysis and supporting project forecasting and reporting activities.\nDriving project quality outcomes through implementation of quality management systems, conformance activities and procurement compliance.\nSupporting commercial management activities including change management, variations, extensions of time, claims and procurement processes.\nBuilding strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders while providing mentoring and technical guidance to developing engineers.\nWhat We're Looking For\nTo be successful in this role you will bring:\nBachelor of Engineering qualification.\nMinimum 4 years of project engineering experience within infrastructure, utilities, transmission, substations, construction or related industries.\nDemonstrated experience managing subcontractors and project delivery teams.\nStrong understanding of project scheduling, forecasting, cost management and reporting.\nExperience delivering change management processes and driving quality outcomes across projects.\nStrong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to analyse complex technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutions.\nCommitment to safety, quality and environmental excellence.\nTransmission industry experience will be highly regarded.\nWhat We Offer\nAt Downer, we recognise that our success is built on the expertise, passion and commitment of our people.
