This role is responsible for the contractual and financial administration of our projects, including quality and health and safety-related disciplines.\nAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with Project Managers and the Commercial Manager to ensure a no-surprises approach to applying a sound commercial strategy across all project operations. This role involves managing contractual and financial aspects, handling client and stakeholder interactions, and proactively identifying potential financial risks.\nKey responsibilities include:\nProviding commercial, contractual and risk management knowledge to improve project performance;\n\nApply a consistent and strategic commercial approach to project operations following Downer’s policies;\n\nEnsuring sound financial and business practices are applied to all project operations consistent with company policies, procedures and business systems;\n\nPromoting consistency and accuracy with regards to forecasting, cash flow and predictability of project outcomes.\n\nMaintain accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with company policies\n\nPromote a culture of responsibility and accountability for health and safety\n\nImportant Skills | Nga pūkenga matua\nYou’ll bring with you proven experience working in a civil construction/maintenance environment, with site experience.
