Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defence and National Security.\nDowner Professional Services is seeking an experienced Security Documentation Writer to support one of our major projects with security accreditation and certification activities across Defence ICT systems and solutions.\nIn this role, you’ll work closely with Certification Consultants, System Managers and ICT teams to develop the security documentation required to support system certification and accreditation. You’ll contribute to complex Defence capability by translating technical security requirements, risks and controls into clear, accurate documentation aligned with Australian Government security standards.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs part of the security team, you’ll support ICT programs and projects by providing security assurance, identifying information security risks and helping ensure systems meet relevant Australian Government security requirements.\nDevelop and maintain key security assurance documentation, including Security Risk Management Plans, System Security Plans, System Overviews and Incident Response Plans.\nSupport systems through certification and accreditation activities.\nReview security documentation, policies and controls to identify risks and vulnerabilities, providing security advice to ICT programs and projects.\nWork with internal delivery and security teams to assess security measures and identify and analyse system security requirements.\nSupport CASG in managing information security risks and ensuring alignment with the ASD Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)\nWhat You’ll Bring\nStrong experience in cyber security, information security and risk management.\nDemonstrated experience developing security assurance and accreditation documentation.\nConfidence interpreting technical security requirements and assessing vulnerabilities and risks across complex ICT environments.\nRelevant industry-standard qualifications, with experience in Defence systems, modern networking, operating systems, project management, or Defence certification and accreditation environments highly regarded.\nExperience with CASG, Defence ICT programs or Australian Government cyber security frameworks will be highly valued.\nDue to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain an AGSVA Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
