This long-term partnership reflects Downer’s strength in managing large, complex portfolios and delivering high-quality services at scale.\nWe have an opportunity for Security Guards to join our workforce and play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stockland’s national portfolio, located at Stockland Piccadilly Retail, located in Sydney's retail precinct.\nThe rostered hours as follows:\nFul-time security guard - Monday & Tuesday- 15:00 - 23:00 | Wednesday & Thursday - 18:00 - 06am (40 hours per/week)\nReporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.\nWhat You’ll Do\nThis role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:\nMonitor premises and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security \nControl site access and manage visitors, contractors, and deliveries \nRespond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner \nProvide general assistance and maintain a visible, approachable presence \nObserve and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance issues \nMaintain accurate records, follow procedures, and liaise with relevant services when required \nWhat You’ll Bring\nCertificate II (mandatory) or Certificate III in Security (desirable)\nCurrent First Aid Certificate with CPR (mandatory)\nWorking with Children’s Check (mandatory)\nExperience monitoring CCTV, alarms, and access control systems \nPrevious experience in a shopping centre enviornment\nAbility to respond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and concerns \nStrong communication, conflict resolution, and report-writing skills \nAbility to work independently and in a team, with a good understanding of safety procedures \nMore than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.\nWhy Downer?\nAt Downer, we plan, create, and sustain essential public services across Australia and New Zealand.
