You will work closely with project, procurement, construction and client stakeholders to provide accurate planning insights, identify schedule risks and drive successful project outcomes.\nThis role will ideally be based from our Brisbane office in Milton however flexibility on location for the right candidate may be considered.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6\nPrepare tender and delivery schedules aligned to contract requirements and project objectives\nDevelop resource loaded and cost loaded programs that support project execution\nFacilitate schedule reviews, critical path workshops and planning sessions\nMonitor project performance and provide schedule analysis and reporting\nReview delay events and undertake delay analysis and mitigation planning\nAssess supplier and subcontractor schedules for quality, completeness and progress performance\nSupport project controls activities including earned value and schedule performance reporting\nPrepare planning reports, dashboards and project status updates\nPartner with project teams to identify risks, opportunities and schedule improvements\nProvide guidance and mentoring to planners across the business\nWhat we're looking for\nExtensive experience in project planning and scheduling within infrastructure, utilities, power, water, transmission, substation, network or shutdown projects\nAdvanced Primavera P6 scheduling capability\nStrong understanding of critical path methodology and delay analysis techniques\nExperience developing and managing complex project schedules throughout the project lifecycle\nExperience using InEight, NSP, Power BI and Oracle databases or Microsoft Visio\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills\nDesirable qualifications and experience:\nDegree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline\nProject Management certification\nExperience preparing Extension of Time claims and undertaking gap analysis\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive remuneration package\nFlexible working arrangements where operationally suitable\nProfessional development and career growth opportunities\nAccess to employee benefits and wellbeing programs\nA collaborative and supportive team environment\nThe opportunity to contribute to some of Australia's largest energy and utilities projects\nAbout Energy & Utilities\nDowner is a leading provider of integrated services across Australia and New Zealand.
