Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating construction and project delivery activities across a portfolio of ITS, electrical and infrastructure projects.\nThis is an opportunity to work within a high-performing team, driving project outcomes, supporting operational excellence and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.\nKey responsibilities\nCoordinate on-site construction and project management activities across allocated projects.\n\nSupport the successful delivery of projects to scope, schedule, quality and budget requirements.\n\nAssist with planning, forecasting, cost control and project reporting.\n\nCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.\n\nMonitor project risks, opportunities and program performance.\n\nSupport contractual administration, including claims and variations.\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors and project teams.\n\nDrive productivity improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery.\n\nChampion Downer's Zero Harm culture through safety leadership, inspections and workforce engagement.\n\nEnsure compliance with project governance, quality systems and operational processes.\n\nWhat you’ll bring\nExperience in project coordination, project management or construction delivery within Civil, ITS, Electrical or related infrastructure environments.\n\nDegree in Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification (preferred).\n\nStrong understanding of project planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.\n\nExperience managing subcontractors and stakeholder relationships.\n\nKnowledge of contractual administration, claims and variations.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.\n\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.\n\nA proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.\n\nDowner is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
