Working closely with the Project Engineer and broader project team, you will help coordinate works, monitor construction performance and ensure project requirements are achieved safely and to the required quality standards.\nKey responsibilities\nCoordinate and administer construction engineering activities across the project.\nMonitor construction performance, progress and work programs.\nInterpret designs and support their implementation on site.\nCoordinate and supervise technical aspects of project delivery.\nAssist with site construction budgets, reporting, claims and variations.\nSupport the coordination and performance of subcontractors.\nAssist with ITPs, lot management, NCRs, RFIs and other quality documentation.\nPrepare progress and compliance reporting.\nBuild strong working relationships with project teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.\nSupport Zero Harm, safety, environmental and quality requirements across site activities. \nWhat you’ll bring\nBachelor of Engineering.\nMinimum 2 years’ engineering experience within the construction industry.\nProject planning and construction delivery experience.\nStrong technical, analytical and problem-solving capability.\nUnderstanding of construction quality and compliance requirements.\nStrong organisational and time-management skills.\nConfident communication skills and ability to build relationships across site teams and stakeholders.\nExperience within civil construction, roads, asphalt, surfacing or paving will be highly regarded.\nDowner is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
